Wedding Supply Checklist
The planning for your wedding never seems to end, even up to the very last minute before the ceremony and reception begin, so make life easier for yourself by creating a wedding reception supplies check list. While the majority of your wedding reception decorations and arrangements will be taken care of by other people on the day of the wedding, there are few last minute items that you or your attendants will need to bring with you on the day of the wedding. These wedding reception supplies are usually the most precious items that will make the reception special and forgetting these items can cause you unnecessary stress on your wedding day. So, put together a wedding reception supplies checklist and place these items in a box in the days before the wedding. Of course, you’ll also need to remember to bring these items with you, so place it by the door or in the car the night before.
Your wedding reception guest book will need to be placed near the reception entrance so that your guests can sign their names and leave you a little bit of their marriage wisdom if they choose.
A decorative pen or set of pens that can be placed next to your guest book is crucial or else no one will be able to jot anything down.
Your wedding cake knife and server will be used during your cake ceremony, so don’t forget these or no one will be able to eat that tasty and pricey symbol of your love.
You can’t have your first toast as a married couple without your toasting set. You can choose from champagne flutes, beer steins, shot glasses, or martini glasses.
A decorative envelope box is a great item to have because it gives your guests a secure place to drop in their cash or check envelopes.
Bring your own camera for those intimate shots that might not be captured by the professional photographer.
If you have a special song that you want played at the reception, don’t forget to bring a copy of it just in case the DJ forgets or doesn’t have a copy of his own.
An extra pair of comfortable shoes to wear after the wedding ceremony. You don’t want to spend your special day with tired, achy feet, so put on some cute flats or slippers at the reception to keep your feet feeling fresh.
Just married decorations for the car. While your groomsmen will most likely have something planned for your getaway, at least bring a sign of some sort just in case.
A copy of your speech if you’re planning on giving one during the reception.
